Simply the Best!
Gabe Williamson was elected last spring as the UNL PBL Website Coordinator hav-ing no idea of what was to come—an overhaul of the UNL website. Because UNL PBL‘s website is on the unl.edu plat-form and uses similar templates, we could not have kept the old look. Instead, Gabe dedicated many hours to making the new changes. In addition, Gabe has integrated our Twitter posts into the site, installed a calendar, and updated items regularly. While the Website may be his responsi-bility, Gabe has gone above and beyond with his responsibilities.
Nebraska PBL welcome to another great year. I am Callie Konicek your Vice President of Membership for 2009-2010. I graduated in May from McCook Community College and now attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
I was actively involved in FCCLA and FFA in high school. These organizations have taught me so many things that have led me to where I am today. I am now an active member of PBL serving as a returning state officer. My hobbies include watching sports, especially when they are close games, working with digital technology and hanging out with my family and friends.
I have learned a lot from being a previous state officer and have many goals that I would like to accomplish. My main goal is to visit each chapter and help to motivate the members to become more active in the organization. Together we can accomplish the state goals and the national goals. Nebraska let's make this year Simply the Best and recruit more members than ever!
