Phi Beta Lambda is a great organization in which to get involved to help make each student a successful leader in all future endeavors.
My name is James (J.J.) Krauer and joined the Board in 2009. I first joined Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) in high school and recognized the leadership and learning opportunities the organization offered. Additionally, it provided networking opportunities and some great memories. I then joined Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) my freshman year at Midland Lutheran College. Some of my best college memories occurred while working on PBL projects and attending conferences. I also had the privilege of serving in leadership roles at both the chapter and state levels, including Nebraska PBL President. It is an honor to be serving on the Board and I look forward to working with the chapters and seeing what the upcoming year holds.
After graduating from Midland, I went into public accounting at KPMG LLP as an audit associate. In 2009, I decided to leave public accounting in pursuit of a law degree. Currently, I attend the University of Nebraska College of Law and am a law clerk for the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy going to concerts and continuing my martial arts training at Rosenbach Warrior Training Branch (RWTB) where I have earned my black belt. Other activities of mine include diving, snow skiing, and archery.
